What we walked into
A robot mower keeps the grass short, but it can't edge and it doesn't touch the borders.
So every two weeks two of us come in for about half an hour and do the bits the robot can't.
Filmed and posted October 2026. Watch the full job on our YouTube channel.

Is a robot mower worth it?
For keeping grass short between visits, they work well. What they don't do is edges, tight corners or borders, and that's most of what makes a garden look finished.
If you've got one, a short regular visit for the edges is usually all you need. On this job that's £55 every two weeks.
