- ABOUT US -

Grounds Care, rooted in Carmarthenshire.

A family-run grounds maintenance and lawn care business, founded by brothers raised on the working land between Kidwelly Castle and the Carmarthen Bay coast.
Now serving Kidwelly, Burry Port, Carmarthen, Llanelli, and the villages in between.
- OUR STORY -

Brought up on this land.
Working it now.

Keltic Grounds was founded by brothers Adam and Joseph Beer, originally trading as ABGardens from 2021. We grew up in Kidwelly — a Carmarthenshire town defined by its castle, its coastline, and the kind of working landscape that teaches you, early, what good ground looks like.Animals, hedges, gardens, building sites — the practical side of life wasn't something we discovered later. It was just how we lived. After years of mowing, planting, building and learning the trade properly, we put our name to the work. ABGardens became Keltic Grounds , a name that reflects the heritage we came from and the standard we hold ourselves to.Today the business is back where it started: rooted in Carmarthenshire. The lanes, the gardens, the hedge lines, and the back fields we maintain are the same kind of land we grew up around. That matters, because lawns in this part of Wales behave differently to anywhere else — the rainfall, the soil, the wind off Carmarthen Bay all shape what works and what doesn't.

— WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT —

Why our customers stay with us.

Most grounds maintenance companies scale on volume — bigger crews, faster visits, less attention to detail. We've built Keltic Grounds Co. to work the other way around.

The same crew, every visit

You won't get a different face at your gate every fortnight. The team that turns up first is the team that turns up six months later — and they'll know your garden by the second visit. Continuity is the single biggest reason customers stay year after year.

Built for higher standards

Edges cut sharp. Clippings collected, not blown into beds. Paths and patios cleared before we leave. Nothing scalped, nothing rushed, nothing left half-done. We work to a finish, not a clock — and we'd rather lose the job than rush it.

Properly insured & accountable

£5 million public liability cover. Full COSHH compliance. Written proposal before any work begins. Quotes turned around within two hours during working hours. Monthly direct debit for regular clients — no awkward invoice conversations.

- OUR APPROACH -

A garden is a long-term project,
not a transaction.

A lawn is a living system. It responds to what you did to it last month and what you'll do to it next season. Most Carmarthenshire lawns that look tired by August aren't unlucky — they've just been mown without anyone thinking about the whole picture.Every property we take on begins with a proper site assessment. We look at the soil, the drainage, the grass species, the shade patterns, the hedges and beds, and how the prevailing weather off the bay affects the ground. Then we put together a plan that's specific to your garden — not a one-size-fits-all programme bolted on from a brochure. The RHS lawn care guidance is a reasonable starting point, but a lawn in Burry Port that sits 200m from the sea behaves nothing like a sheltered town garden in Carmarthen. Local experience matters more than any general rule.

- THE TEAM -

The People on your property.

Adam Beer
CO - FOUNDER

Adam founded the business in 2021 and runs day-to-day operations — site assessments, quotes, scheduling, and the bulk of the regular client work on the tools. If you're getting a first visit, it'll usually be Adam at the gate.

Joseph Beer
CO - FOUNDER

Joseph — known as Joe — works alongside Adam on larger jobs and commercial sites, and runs the business side: website, customer communications, scheduling. Between the two of us, we cover the kind of workload two brothers raised in the same trade tend to cover, efficiently.
