Getting the best result
Spring and late summer are the most popular times, to get the patio ready for summer or clean up after it. Hard surfaces can be washed any time it isn't freezing.
Block paving usually needs the joints topping up with kiln-dried sand after washing, because the old sand comes out with the dirt. We'll tell you if yours needs it.
Soft stone like Indian sandstone can be marked by too much pressure. We adjust the pressure and distance for each surface rather than blasting everything the same.
Moss, weeds and grime
The build up a pressure wash lifts from patios, paths and drives. Example photos.

Pressure washing by town:
Common questions
Will pressure washing damage my patio?
Not when it's done properly. We adjust the pressure and the distance for each surface, and take more care with soft stone like sandstone.
Does block paving need re-sanding afterwards?
Usually, yes. Washing lifts the old sand out of the joints along with the dirt, so the joints should be topped up with kiln-dried sand. We'll tell you if yours needs it.
How long does it stay clean?
It depends how shaded and damp the area is. Most patios stay noticeably cleaner for a year or more, and shady, north-facing areas green up faster.
Do I need to be home?
No, as long as we can get to the area and there's an outside tap we can use. Let us know when you book.
How much does pressure washing cost?
It's priced on the size of the area and the type of surface. Send us a photo and rough measurements and we'll give you a fixed price.
