Hedge trimming in Trimsaran
We are a family run gardening business based in Kidwelly, and Trimsaran is about 3 miles from us by road. That is close enough that we have already worked here: the video is a hedge trimming job we filmed in Trimsaran for our YouTube channel.

Hedge trimming, Trimsaran
Village and valley
Trimsaran is a former mining village on the B4308, roughly midway between Llanelli and Kidwelly. Its colliery closed in 1954, and the old opencast land at Ffos Las, just south of Carway, has been restored and is now the racecourse, which opened in 2009.
Carway sits in the Gwendraeth Valley, in the community of Llangyndeyrn, with Glyn Abbey golf course on restored mining land to the north of the village.
Being a few miles inland, gardens here get far less salt wind than the ones we look after in Ferryside and Pembrey, so the usual garden hedges like privet, laurel, beech and conifers can put on plenty of growth. That is great for privacy, but miss a season of cutting and they soon get away from you.

- Digging out roots. We cut back to ground level or low stumps, and that is how every quote is written.
- Waste removal on quoted jobs, unless it is on the quote. It is priced separately so you can choose.

Can you cut my hedge in spring or summer?
Yes, but from March to August we check for active nests first. Damaging a nest that is in use is an offence under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, so if birds are nesting, that section waits.
How much is a day of garden work in Trimsaran?
Booking a team for a day costs £360 for one person, £600 for two or £840 for three, for 8 hours on site. Half days are £200, £340 or £480. A £100 deposit holds the date and comes off your bill.
What happens to the green waste?
A whole day booking includes one van load of green waste. On quoted jobs, waste removal is priced separately on the quote. If you would rather, clippings can go in your green bin or be left tidy on site.
Do you dig out stumps and roots?
No. Our quotes never include digging out roots. Shrubs and overgrowth are cut back to ground level or low stumps.
