Clean lawns and safe paths
Real photos from our own jobs.

What we clear
Lawns
Leaves blown and raked off so the grass underneath gets light and doesn't go yellow and patchy.
Paths, patios and drives
Wet leaves are slippery. We clear hard surfaces so they're safe to walk on.
Beds and borders
Leaves picked out of beds where they're smothering low plants, and left where they help.
Drains and gullies
Ground-level drains, gullies and channels cleared so rainwater can get away.
All leaves taken away
Loaded up and taken to a licensed site. No bags left by the bin.
Repeat visits
Leaves keep falling until December. We can come back every couple of weeks until the trees are bare.
Autumn tidy ups
Leaf clearance often goes hand in hand with an autumn tidy, cutting back the summer's growth and getting the garden ready for winter.
Here are a couple of tidy ups we filmed.

Leaf season in Carmarthenshire
Most of our leaf clearance happens from mid October to early December, when the big trees drop. If you have a lot of trees around you, two or three visits a few weeks apart usually works better than one big clear at the end.
Leaves left on a lawn over winter block the light and hold moisture against the grass, which is one of the main causes of yellow patches and moss by spring.
If you'd rather keep the leaves, they make brilliant leaf mould. The council's garden waste bin also takes leaves, at £60.60 a year for 2026, but a single 240 litre bin fills fast in autumn. See the council garden waste service.

Common questions
When should I get my leaves cleared?
Mid October to early December is the main season. If you have lots of trees, book two or three visits rather than waiting for every leaf to drop.
Is it bad to leave leaves on the lawn?
A light scattering is fine, but a thick layer blocks light and holds moisture against the grass, which leads to yellow patches and moss. Clearing them off the lawn is worth doing.
Do you clear gutters?
No. We clear ground-level drains, gullies and channels only. Gutter clearing needs ladder or access work, so it's a job for a specialist.
Do you take the leaves away?
Yes. Everything we clear is loaded up and taken to a licensed site as a registered waste carrier. It's included in the price.
Can you do it as part of a maintenance plan?
Yes. If you're on one of our garden maintenance plans, autumn leaf clearance can be built into your visits.
Leaves taking over?
Send us a photo of the garden. Fixed price in writing, leaves taken away included.
