Borders brought back
Real photos from our own jobs.

What we do
Beds and borders weeded
Weeds pulled and hoed out of beds and borders, with your plants left alone.
Paths and patios
Weeds cleared out of gravel, paths, patio joints and driveway edges.
Lawn edges
Edges cut back and re-defined so the line between lawn and border is crisp.
Cutting back
Tired perennials, overgrown shrubs and climbers cut back at the right time of year.
Bark or mulch
Topped up on request, which helps keep weeds down between visits.
All waste taken away
Everything we pull out is bagged and taken away.
Borders we've uncovered
Sometimes a border is so overgrown nobody knows it's there. This one turned out to be an original Victorian border.
Weeding is slow, careful work. We take our time so your plants stay put.

Weeds through the year
Weeds grow fastest from April to September, so a visit every two to four weeks through the growing season stops them seeding and keeps borders easy.
A big catch-up weed in spring or autumn is a good reset if the garden has got away from you. After that, regular visits cost less than letting it go and starting again.
Perennial weeds like bindweed, couch grass and ground elder come back from bits of root, so they take a few visits to wear down. We'll be honest about that from the start.

Common questions
Do you use weedkiller?
We weed by hand and hoe as standard. If you want a weedkiller used on paths or gravel, tell us when you book and we'll talk it through.
Will you know which are weeds and which are my plants?
Yes, and if we're ever not sure about something, we leave it and ask you.
How often should borders be weeded?
Every two to four weeks from April to September keeps on top of most gardens. Less often in winter.
Do you take the weeds away?
Yes. Everything we pull out is bagged and taken away. It's included in the price.
Can weeding be part of a maintenance plan?
Yes. Regular weeding and border care are built into our garden maintenance plans.
Borders full of weeds?
Send us a photo. Fixed price in writing, all waste taken away.
