What we walked into
Two conifers trimmed at a house in Llanelli, one at the front and one at the back, plus the tree branches hanging over the shed cut back and the laurel reduced.
Everything we cut was broken down so it loaded tight, then taken away. It came to half a van load of waste.

Why we break the cuttings down
We charge green waste by the van load, £100 a load. Breaking the branches down before loading packs them much tighter, so on this job it all fitted in half a van, which came to £50.
It's green waste only: hedge cuttings, prunings and small branches. Large logs and stumps are priced separately, because the tip charges for them differently.
