What we walked into
A tall conifer hedge down the side of a back garden in Kidwelly, cut and shaped on the tops and sides. It was a conifer hedge only job, priced at £200 a cut.
We worked off the ladder for the top, cut everything back to a clean, even line and blew the cuttings off the paths and gravel at the end.
Done in Kidwelly in September 2026.

Step by step
Cut the sides
The sides trimmed back to a clean line along the whole hedge.
Shape the top
The top cut from the ladder and shaped to an even finish.
Even it up
Tops and sides checked so the hedge finishes neat, dense and even.
Clear up
Cuttings blown and cleared off the paths and the gravel.
What to sort out before we cut your hedge
To get the best finish we need clear access along both sides of the hedge, so it helps if cars, garden furniture, pots and bins are moved out from underneath before we arrive.
If the hedge is shared with a neighbour, it's worth confirming the boundary line first. Anything we can't safely reach or cut around is left, and the job is still charged as agreed, so a quick check beforehand saves any surprises.
