What we walked into
The neighbour is bedridden with three carers a day, and four or five years of brambles, ivy and buddleia had taken over the patio, gone up the walls and into the windows, with a back door nobody had opened in years.
Me and Callum went in through the client's kitchen and a gate that fell apart as soon as I touched it. The deal was the hedge, the patio and everything touching his house, but it looked silly half done, so we cleared the whole garden.
Along the way we found a toilet, footballs, a ladder, a racing bike and a door nobody had seen in years.

Why we stayed the full day
I quoted £800 for the lot. He could only do £400, so we agreed half a day. We stayed the full day and that time was on us, a bit of charity work from Keltic Grounds Wales.
