On our own Llanelli jobs in 2026, garden clearance has cost between £255 and £730. A family garden where the customer kept the waste was £255, and a full day on a badly overgrown garden was £530 to £730 with the waste taken away. Every job gets a fixed written price before we start.
Real garden clearance prices in Llanelli
Every price below is what the customer actually paid on a job we did and filmed in Llanelli or Llwynhendy in 2026. It's not a price list, your garden will be different, but it gives you a proper idea before you ask us.
| Job | What was there | Time and team | Price | Waste |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Family garden, Llanelli | Brambles across the lawn, hawthorn over the side wall, a blocked side gate and wire buried in the growth | Not recorded on the job | £255 | Kept by the customer, not in the price |
| Garage and back gate, Llanelli | Brambles, bindweed and nettles growing through the walls, garage door and path hidden | One morning, done by half twelve | £300 (£250 clearance plus £50 weed killing) | Four bags, not priced separately |
| Bedridden neighbour’s garden, Llanelli | Four or five years of brambles, ivy and buddleia over the patio, up the walls and into the windows | Me and Callum, agreed as half a day, we stayed the full day | £400 agreed (I quoted £800 for the whole garden) | Not broken down |
| Locked out for two years, Llanelli | Brambles, buddleia and small trees, with the gate blocked by a tree | 9:30 til 5:30, two of us | £530 | Included |
| Inherited house, Llanelli | Brambles, laurels, a spiky bush, a path nobody had seen in years and a lot of junk | Me and Callum | £550 (£450 cutting plus £100 waste) | £100, shown separately |
| Bramble path, Llwynhendy | Brambles from the empty house next door, ground full of bricks and breeze blocks | A full day | £730 (£630 clearance plus £100 waste) | £100, shown separately |
On the Llwynhendy job the customer then had us do the driveway and paths as well, which took the total to £1,000. On the neighbour’s garden, the deal was £400 for the hedge, the patio and everything touching my client’s house, but it looked silly half done, so we cleared the lot and the extra time was on us.
He inherited this house in Llanelli and couldn’t sell it until the garden was cleared. £550 all in.
Two ways to pay: a fixed quote or a booked day
A fixed quote. Send us a few photos and you get one price in writing, usually the same day and always within 24 hours. On a quoted job the waste is priced separately on the quote, so you can keep it and save the money if you've got a way to get rid of it.
Book a team for a day. For big gardens where nobody knows what's under there, you can book us by the day: 1 person £360, 2 people £600 or 3 people £840 for 8 hours on site, or half days at £200, £340 and £480. A £100 deposit books it and comes off your bill, and a whole day includes one van load of green waste.
For small one-off jobs, general labour is £45 per man hour.
What changes the price
- How long it's been left. A few months of growth is a quick job. Two years of brambles and small trees, like the lost key garden, is a full day for two of us.
- The waste. On our Llanelli jobs, taking it away was £100 on both jobs where it was shown separately. Keep it yourself and the price drops, which is why the family garden came in at £255.
- What's hiding underneath. Buried wire in the family garden and bricks and breeze blocks in Llwynhendy meant blades and picking it out by hand instead of quicker machines.
- Getting in and out. Everything has to come out through a gate, a house or down a lane. For the neighbour’s garden we went in through my client's kitchen and a gate that fell apart as soon as I touched it.
- Extras. Bindweed comes back from tiny bits of root, so the garage job had £50 of weed killing on top.
- Roots. We cut everything to ground level or low stumps and we never dig out roots, so that's not in any of these prices.
After a clearance, a regular cut is what stops you paying for another one. The garage job customer now has her lawn cut every two weeks at £25, and most lawns are £35 a cut.
