What we walked into
She was referred by a friend who watches our videos. Brambles, bindweed and nettles had blocked her back gate and completely hidden the garage door and the path to it.
Local foxes had torn open rubbish bags in the growth, so there was litter all the way through it, and the bindweed growing through the walls was the slowest part of the whole job. Once it was cleared we found the path to the garage door and a patio she didn't know was there.
Filmed and posted August 2026. Watch the full job on our YouTube channel.

| Details | |
|---|---|
| Where | Llanelli |
| The job | Bramble and bindweed clearance plus weed killing |
| Time on site | Morning, finished by half twelve |
| Waste | Four bags |
| Price | £300: £250 clearance and £50 weed killing |
| Afterwards | Lawn cut every two weeks at £25 |
Step by step
Cut a way in
Brambles cut back from the gate first so we could get the gear and the bags through.
Clear the walls
Bindweed and brambles cleared off the walls they had grown through.
Bag the rubbish
Rubbish the foxes had torn open bagged up as we went.
Weed kill
Treated afterwards to slow the bindweed and brambles coming back.
Why we treat bindweed after clearing
Bindweed regrows from small pieces of root, so cutting it alone only buys a few weeks. That's why this job had £50 of weed killing on top of the £250 clearance.
She now has the lawn cut every two weeks at £25, which is what keeps a garden like this from getting away again.
