Mowing in Llanelli
Llanelli lawns range from small patches behind terraced houses to big gardens on the newer estates, so we bring the right mower for the job, from compact push mowers that fit through a side gate to a stand-on mower for big open lawns.
We also take on lawns that have been left to grow. You can see one of our overgrown lawn rescues in Llanelli below. The first cut back is the hard part, and after that a regular round keeps it easy.
Saving overgrown lawns in Llanelli
What's in a cut
Cut, clippings your way
Grass cut to the right height for the season, with the clippings put in your green bin, taken away for an extra fee or mulched back in.
Edges trimmed
Lawn edges strimmed or cut back so the borders and paths stay crisp.
Paths blown off
Clippings blown off paths, patios and drives before we leave.
Right mower for the lawn
Compact mowers for tight gardens, a stand-on mower for big open lawns.
Overgrown first cuts
Long grass knocked back in stages so the lawn recovers rather than browning off.
Same team, same day
A regular slot on our round, with the same faces each visit.

Common questions
Do you mow lawns all over Llanelli?
Yes, including Felinfoel, Dafen, Furnace, Pwll and the rest of SA14 and SA15.
How often should my lawn be mowed?
In the main growing season, roughly April to September, most lawns look best cut every two weeks. In spring and autumn, every three or four weeks is usually enough. A good rule is never to take off more than a third of the grass height in one cut.
Do you take the clippings away?
We can for an extra fee, or we can put them in your green bin on site or mulch them back into the lawn, whichever suits you. Paths and patios are blown off before we leave either way.
How much does lawn mowing cost?
Lawn mowing is priced per cut, based on the size of the lawn, access and how often you want it done. You can get an instant price online through our quote page, or send us a photo.
Can you cut a lawn that's really overgrown?
Yes. We knock long grass back in stages rather than scalping it in one go, so the lawn recovers. After the first cut, a regular round keeps it easy.
